I've been a little absent from my blog lately. School and work has been keeping me busy, and I made a trip home a couple of weeks ago to see my family. Hopefully I'll get back on track soon and continue with regular posting. I have tons of great things to share!

This is the second look from my collaboration with Angel Court Jewels. For this look, I paired the Daingerfield necklace with an oversized tank, sheer rust maxi and my favorite sandals. The necklace has lovely dangling leaves that give the perfect boho vibe.

Its Official!

My plane ticket and hotel are booked for New York. I can't even begin to describe how excited I am. It will be my first time on a plane (!) and my first trip outside of the Southern US. Of course, I've already started a list of things to do while I'm there. Here's what I have so far!

If you follow me on instagram, you probably know that I received a wonderful package in the mail filled with gorgeous handcrafted jewels from Angel Court. Here I paired the edgy brass "Bale" necklace with a bleached denim button up and faux leather skirt. The necklace is such a great statement piece! It would add interest to a solid top, or create awesome depth thrown over a print. I love how its so reminiscent of the medieval look with the detailed little shields. Of course I had to throw on my Lita's with the brass eyelets. I have a thing about matching the metal on my shoes to that of the jewelry I'm wearing.
