Bella Luxx French Terry Heaven

pants c/o bella luxx {here}, top-bcbg, blazer-express, shoes-jeffrey campbell

The awesome people at Bella Luxx sent me these pants and let me tell ya...they're amazing! They're the most comfortable terry knit material so it feels like you never stepped out of your jammies, but the black and navy is super sophisticated. I always love sporty pieces paired with a great blazer.

p.s. please ignore the cat hair embedded in the detail shorts. its part of my every day life.

NYE Ready!

romper c/o missguided, tights c/o missguided

For this look, I collaborated with Missguided to put together a New Year's Eve look! I saw this great embellishee romper and thought it was perfect. Not everyone feels comfortable partying in a dress all night, so a romper would be the perfect alternative! And lets face it- if you settle on wearing a hot little mini you'll be freezing all night. I paired the romper with semi-sheer tights and a fringe jacket to stay warm! Also, Litas are the perfect party shoe because they're tall, bold AND comfortable.
What will you be wearing on NYE?

Birthday!

top c/o romwe {here}, blazer c/o romwe, tights c/o missguided, shoes c/o chicwish, clutch via nastygal

Today (well, technically yesterday now) was my birthday! Unfortunately I have lost my voice from being sick, so I could only whisper or awkwardly squeak all day. My bf snapped some quick photos of what I wore to work before I headed out! I looove this wooly clutch from Nastygal.

FRINGE BENEFITS [ASHLEY TREECE X DAHLIA\WOLF]

dress c/o Dahlia\Wolf {HERE}, ring-Vince Camuto, booties-Old Navy

I recently collaborated with the peeps over at Dahlia\Wolf to create this super fun dress! Despite its punchy print, its very versatile. For Fall, I paired it with a cool grey scarf and navy booties. I love a color scheme mixing cool and warm hues. I can't wait to wear it in the Spring and Summer with all white accessories! I'm also having dreams of wearing it with a turtleneck or collared shirt layered underneath for the colder months. The fringe detailing gives so much movement and personality to the dress-I got sooo many compliments when I wore it!

For a limited time, you can pre-order it [HERE] for 30% off!

Another Pair of Eyes

jacket-express, shirt with eye collar c/o frontrowshop {here}, faux leather pants c/o choies {here}, shoes-coach

If there's anything I love, its a great basic with a quirky detail. How cool is the collar on this shirt? I love the playful element it adds to a classic white button up. I kept it business by adding a blazer and my most sophisticated Coach loafer heels, then threw in more complimentary fun with these perfect faux leather pants in one of Fall's favorite colors-oxblood.

Green Daze

faux fur cape c/o missguided, faux leather pants c/o h&m, shoes-lucky brand, bag-tre vero

I had to have this cape as soon as I saw it. I absolutely love the color. Dark greens really get me through my all black ruts in the colder months! I paired it with a semi sheer black top, faux leather black pants and black suede booties to keep the texture going. Mixing different textures is one of my favorites, especially when its colder and faux fur can be thrown in the mix!

The wonderful Anna Hutchison of Spring Street Portraits took these quick snaps of me. You'll be seeing a lot more from her on my blog! Make sure you check out her Facebook page!

SWEATER WEATHER

cream sweater c/o sheinside {here}, burgundy faux leather pants c/o chicwish {here}, ivory/gold studded booties c/o chicwish {here}, bracelet- bcbg, black leather bag- tre vero

Arkansas weather is crazy. One day its freezing cold, and the next its a gorgeous 70 degree day. Luckily, this cozy cream sweater arrived just in time for one of those chilly Fall days! Its just perfectly oversized, so I may have to wear it on Thanksgiving to hide my inevitable food baby. I paired it with these equally cozy faux leather pants. They have an elastic waistband (also perfect for food babies), are lined with a fuzzy fleece AND.....pockets! So good. I've also been loving these booties. I think they're the only Fall-appropriate shoes I have that aren't black, and I'm surprised at how much wear I'm getting out of them! Maybe I should start investing in other shades of shoes.
