bun magic

I've been trying oh so hard to perfect the mighty bun. My hair is super fine and thin, so until recently all I could ever achieve was a golf ball size lump on the top of my head that looked silly. For the past couple months I've been doing a ballerina style top knot, but today I was able to pull this out of my hat! It was a perfectly proportioned ball that sat securely atop my head. I got tons of compliments on it today, and a lot of people asking how I did it so I'll probably be posting a tutorial later. Its super simple!

This is what I wore to work today. I ended up throwing on a blazer because of the cold weather. I've discovered that I really need to invest in some new accessories. Most of the ones I have now no longer suit me. Anyway, I still have some new goodies to show! Maybe I'll save them for a post tomorrow!

wednesday's outfit

This is what I wore Wednesday. Nothing special. Its hard to dress lately with my schedule. I have to head straight to work from class, with no time in between to change. This wouldn't be a problem if my classes weren't art classes where we were using ridiculous amounts of charcoal. I can't chance ruining my nice clothes!

My boyfriend brought this too me when he got off work last night. So cute! Furry animals and candy, doesn't get much better in my opinion!

rainy day

About to head to work, where its the first day of our big sale. Hoping to get some retail therapy out of the way while it can come at a lower price. Maybe I'll come home with some goodies to show! Already have some things in mind to grab up!

sunnies

My new loves. Boyfriend bought them for me from Grey Dog, an awesome vintage boutique inside of a vintage air streamer. So cool. I've been wanting some round sunnies, and I love the gold detail. Can't wait to wear them all summer!
